Q. What types of events are included on the calendar?
A. We feature creative community events held within the Halifax Peninsula (District 7: Halifax South Downtown, District 8: Halifax Peninsula North, District 9: Halifax West Armdale). We do not list events related to hate-based activities, religious, corporate, or political agendas, or drug-related content.
Q. My event is outside the specified area. Can I still submit it to the community calendar?
A. While we would love to include all local events, our capacity is limited as a small social enterprise. Therefore, we can only feature events within the specified areas.
Q. How long will it take for my event to appear on the calendar?
A. Events typically appear within approximately 7 days of submission. Occasionally, we may add events ourselves that we believe are especially valuable to the community.
Q. My event has been canceled, postponed, or undergone significant changes. How can I update the listing?
A. Please resubmit your event and select "resubmission" to expedite the update process.
Q. Who should I contact if I have questions about a listed event?
A. Please reach out directly to the event organizer for any inquiries, as we only have the information provided in the listing. Thank you!
